Mission
To maximize the potential inclusion and quality of life of all citizens in the City of Garland by identifying issues and making recommendations to the City Council concerning the City's changing demographic composition and diverse needs.
The Community Multicultural Commission seeks to serve the City Council and residents of our community by being:
an advisory group to the City Council,
a forum for citizens to share and discuss issues and idea important to them and critical to athe appreciation of Garland's cultural, ethnic and racial diversity,
an advocate for creative and full inclusion of all our residents so that the quailty of life is enhanced for all,
an enabler in promoting and celebrating our City's rich assortment of cultures,
a team that encourages cooperative relationships among Garland's diverse groups and individuals who share a common concern and caring for our community.
