The City Secretary Department's mission is to facilitate, support and enhance the efforts of the City Council to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of office and the ability of the general public to acquire and access public records and information.

The following are among our opportunities to serve you:

City Council meeting information, copies of minutes, and audio tapes.

Copies of ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other documents authorized by the City Council.  The Code of Ordinances is also found on line or in the Garland library. 

Board application for Council appointed advisory boards or commissions, home solicitation application and claim form for claims against the City.
