When you enter Carver Senior Center, you step back through time for a full lesson on this building's transformation and what it has meant to the Garland community. From being a school to now a senior center, the Carver Senior Center is still a place of learning but just got a whole lot more fun! Ages 55 and older can participate in a wide array of educational, social, and physical activity programs in a friendly and comfortable environment. With a renovation completed in 2019, the Carver Senior Center is now equipped with a game room, TV and computer room, rental space for parties, and a full commercial kitchen serving up some delicious treats for the seniors. Details:
- Non-public rental hours: Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Senior Rates are available for Garland residents ages 55 and older.
- Reservations are available during non-public hours.
- A two-hour minimum rental is required.
